Abstract

Claims is a Bittensor network that turns scientific papers into persistent, source-linked records of claims and evidence. This paper compares its product and incentive design with nearby scientific, data, retrieval, and verification networks. The closest overall analog is Minos, a genomic benchmarking network that also combines private methods, hidden evaluation, and reusable scientific output. Yet genomic tests can use concealed synthetic answer keys, whereas scientific extraction must also handle omissions, equivalent wording, qualifications, evidence relations, and genuine ambiguity. Claims therefore uses direct source checks, meaning-based adjudication, and several levels of review.
